4 Key Questions to Identify Your Life Purpose

“Discover The Four Critical Questions You Must Ask Yourself to Identify Your Life Purpose”

Here’s a quick eye-opening and powerful provoking two minute read…

What is purpose, a simple question to ask yourself right?

When you do something with purpose, you do it with determination.

When your activities have a purpose, you have an aim or intention in mind.

Finding your purpose, your life’s calling and your passion changes everything.

It gives you a reason to spring out of bed in the morning.

Purpose gives you a mission statement…

And it even helps you to decide who you are.

It helps to inform your personal style.

And the way you present yourself.

You’re no longer emulating other people, or doing what you think you should do.

Instead, you’re now embracing your true self.

And your passion so you’re living life to its fullest as a result.

So what’s the problem?

Many people will struggle to find their purpose in this way.

So here are some tips to help you to discover.

What is your true purpose and how to embrace it fully…

life purpose

Don’t miss another day of bodyweight training because your purpose is to start now.

1) When Were You Last Really Happy?

One easy question is to ask when you were last super happy?

Or more than that: when were you last inspired, engaged and rewarded?

This is a rare feeling…

So if there’s some activity or experience that makes you seem to come alive…

Simply don’t hold back, do more of that!

2) Who Are Your Role Models?

Look to your role models.

We all look up to someone in our lives and maybe we look up to multiple people.

The question is what it is about those people.

Maybe what they have in common.

Is that what we find so inspiring and encouraging…

If you can identify some common trait that your heroes all share.

Then you can find a core activity or belief that you respond well to.

And when you do that, you can embrace that side of yourself.

3) What Are You Really Great At?

We shouldn’t just ask what it is we want.

More so what we can do for the world…

Sometimes you will find life takes you in a certain direction.

This is a result of your natural gifts and traits.

Maybe you’re a born salesperson…

Maybe you’re a fantastic artist.

You shouldn’t do anything you aren’t going to enjoy.

Do listen to your talents and use them where you can.

4) How Do Others See You?

You might not know what your true calling is..

Sometimes it will be obvious to other people.

Ask your friends and family what they think you should do.

How they see you what your skills are.

Sometimes they can be surprisingly insightful.

And it gives you enlightening answers.

Without identifying your life’s purpose…

You won’t be able to experience much meaning or fulfillment in life.

Asking these four questions helps set you on the right path…

Everyone has a sense of purpose.

Because without purpose we lose our way.

And become unmotivated and depressed.

Studies have shown when people are contributing to a higher purpose…

They are likely to have a healthier outlook on life.

And be more resilient to stress.

The same is true in your bodyweight training…

Let go of thinking there is only one purpose for you.

And embrace the idea our purpose in life is to love life fully.

You do this by putting yourself into your life!

To lead a purposeful life, follow your passions.

When we live a passion-filled life we are living on purpose.

And that is the purpose of life.

Who said the purpose of life is to live a life of purpose?

“The purpose of life is a life of purpose” – Robert Byrne

P.S. The life purpose of bodyweight training should be exciting…

When you’re not growing, it’s not fun or enjoyable.

Learning new skills to continue growing can feel frustrating and intimidating.

Your life purpose shows you the clear path forward.

And how to recapture fun and excitement of your own fitness.

Life Purpose

Do You Have The Eye Of The Tiger?

“What Does It Mean To Be The Eye Of The Tiger”

Do you have courage to brave the wilderness, are you willing to train hard and survive…

Are we wired for survival or is survival overrated?

It appears survival is our first instinct.

We reactively move away from danger or what might cause us pain.

The survival instinct…

When a tiger goes in for the kill.

The tiger turns it’s ears backwards.

Only revealing the spot on back of each ear.

This is the tiger’s eyes and eye of the tiger…

Risin’ up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I’m back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don’t lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the eye of the tiger
Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin’ tough, stayin’ hungry
They stack the odds ’till we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive
It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the dream of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the eye of the tiger
Risin’ up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I’m not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive
>It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the dream of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the eye of the tiger

(Lyrics – The eye of the tiger; by Survivor 1982)

eye of the tiger

When you say someone has the eye of the tiger…

You are referring to someone who is confident.

They have the look of being intense.

Cold stare and razor sharp focus.

They are fierce with a never say die attitude.

The fierceness and strength of a tiger…

In the wild, seeing the eye of the tiger signifies death.

This is right before a tiger attacks, it turns its ears forward.

The spot on back of each ear faces nearer its prey.

The “eye spots” on back of tigers’ ears serve to confuse predators.

And it effectively reduces risk of an attack from behind.

If you see these “eyes”, the tiger is about to attack.

You know you’re ready to give feedback when…

I’m ready to sit next to you rather than across from you.

I’m willing to put the problem in front of us rather than between us.

And from sliding it towards you.

I’m ready to listen, ask questions, and accept that I may not fully understand the issue.

I want to acknowledge what you do well instead of picking apart your mistakes.

I recognize your strengths and how you can use them to address your challenges.

I can hold you accountable without shaming or blaming you.

I’m willing to own my part…

I can genuinely thank you for your efforts rather than criticize you for your failings.

I can talk about how resolving these challenges will lead to your growth and opportunity.

I can model the vulnerability and openness that I expect to see from you.

How to Maximize Results Using One Arm Bench Push-Ups

“This Unique Bodyweight Chest Exercise Uses One-Arm Bench Push-Up Style For Maximum Results”

Push-ups are a staple bodyweight exercise for the chest and for good reason…

    Bodyweight push-ups work.

One of the BIG problems with push-ups becomes apparent as you get stronger.

And you’re often limited by your bodyweight for resistance.

That’s where the one arm bench push-up comes in.

You’ll feel greater resistance in all the right places.

The bench helps support your body, so you can focus more on your pecs.

Click or Tap PLAY button to watch below how to maximize results using one-arm-bench-push-ups…

This is a simple variation of bodyweight push-up that’s going to give you two major benefits…

    1. This exercise puts more tension on one arm.

Similar to a regular one-arm push-ups, only focusing more on chest than on triceps, like regular one-arm push-ups do.

    2. It puts a great stretch on other non-working pec.

You’ll feel this more as you’re coming down into the push-up.

    3. You’ll be able to use more resistance than your own bodyweight.

This makes this exercise even more effective for building muscle mass.

Okay, so that’s three simple steps…

In order to perform one arm bench push-ups…

You’ll need (at a minimum) to be able to do at least 15 to 20 normal push-ups.

Though, if you really wanted to, you could potentially do these on your knees, too.

For this, you’ll need a bench or a chair or even just stairs…

Basically anything you can set your other hand on that’s a foot and half off ground or so.

I’m using just a regular flat bench.

Set one hand flat on bench and other hand on floor a little ways away from bench.

Keep your body stiff and straight.

    one arm bench push-ups

Now lower yourself down, like you would in a regular push-up.

    one arm bench push-ups

    As you can see…

My left side is getting the brunt of the load, which works the left pec more.

My right arm is being placed in a great pec-stretch position.

This happens every single time I come down to the bottom position.

The other good thing is this stretch position is done against resistance.

This is because the pec is also supporting your bodyweight.

As you push up, that right pec will also contribute to the movement somewhat.

So it’s not a true one-arm push-up where the whole load is on one side.

You get two type of work in one shot…

    Then you switch arms.

    Same exact execution.

    one arm bench push-ups

    one arm bench push-ups

    The second side you do…

You’ll not get as many reps since you’ll already be fatigued from the first.

And it’s fine to take your regular rest period between sides.

If you want to that way you keep things more even.

This is a great push-up variation for when you’re travelling for a couple of reasons…

    First, you get more resistance…

And second, the stretch helps counteract inwards-pulling.

This position is what you tend to acquire while travelling…

For example; sitting for long periods in a plane or car.

One arm bench push-up is a highly effective way to increase intensity.

Great for your bodyweight chest training using very little equipment.

Yes, get the results you want from your bodyweight workouts.

The one arm push-up for your chest and to maximize results.

It’s not just for your triceps, it is great for mass-building as well.
